Think Planes is a two person setup in the form of Simon & Lizz. Another relatively new entrant to the scene at MAN they stand out due to their frequent very early starts.
Simon is the self crowned 'King of the Pans' and puts a lot of effort into getting these as near to perfect as he can.
I don't keep records of the subscriber numbers (I guess I should) but I get the impression that they are one of the faster growing channels.
Watching one of their streams is the polar opposite of watching Simon Lowe. Whereas Simon has a laid back laconic style speaking only when necessary (his tagline is "Let the Planes do the Talking"), Simon & Lizz talk constantly. Either Lizz is greeting people in the chat and keeping Simon (and us) informed of the aircraft movements or Simon is telling us what he is up to with his camera, All of this is interspersed with gentle teasing and joshing with the odd bit of light hearted bickering. This verbal flow would not be out of place after a few scoops at the local bar in the early evening but this happens the moment they start streaming, sometimes at 06:30 in the morning ! It conveys the enthusiasm that comes at the start of a new (ad)venture.
